Thank you for taking the time to allow me to introduce myself and the services that I provide.  In my practice I do much more than standard chiropractic adjustments.  I specialize in functional medicine – the grey area between symptoms/disease and optimal health.  I have found that this is the area where many people “fall through the cracks” so to speak.  A person just isn’t healthy one day and then poof!  They develop a disease the next day.  It takes time for a disease to develop and likewise for a person to recover.  My role is here - in the prevention and the restoration of normal physiology.

Every person I work with presents with a unique history and health need.  Rather than trying to fit them into a “protocol,” I address their individual issues.  I blend both western medicine, (functional laboratory analysis, pharmaceutical grade supplements and lifestyle coaching) with eastern medicine (applied kinesiology, charka balancing, light therapy, meridian analysis and mind-body science) to balance my patient’s health.   Often I find that there are multiple reasons for a health imbalance.  Part of my diagnostic process evolves finding the structural, biochemical and emotional issues at the root of their problem.   I believe that I see such amazing transformations with my patients because I support and restore all aspects of optimal physiology.

In today’s fast paced society we have been taught to reach for the quick fix.  Too often we experience temporary relief from our symptoms because we are only masking symptoms – rather than addressing the cause of our symptom.  When was the last time someone gave you something other than a band aide for your symptoms?  When was the last time someone evaluated how your body is functioning using the latest laboratory testing for your hormones, brain chemistry/mood, digestive system and overall function of your body?  We have nothing is we don’t have our health.  Please take the time to put yourself at the top of your “to do” list!

Dr Daniels grew up in a small town in the Boston suburbs.  As a young student she excelled in the sciences and knew that her passion would lead her to a career in the medical field.  While spending countless hours at hospitals supporting her mother through an ongoing battle with colon cancer, Dr Daniels began to take a closer look into alternative medicine.  Although she was grateful with the care that her mother received, she realized that her mother’s treatment was just crisis care and very one-dimensional.  Drawn to the mixture of neurology and philosophy, Dr. Daniels found Chiropractic and Functional Medicine to be a perfect fit!   This approach to health care would allow her to restore function to patients’ bodies rather than only treat dysfunction.  Dr. Daniels completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Providence College in Rhode Island and continued her education to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic at Southern California University of Health Sciences in Los Angeles.  Dr Daniels has furthered her education with numerous postgraduate certifications in Functional Medicine, Applied Kinesiology and nutrition.  She has also completed certifications in Functional Blood Chemistry, Functional Endocrinology, Functional Endocrinology Case Studies and Mastering the Thyroid with renowned researcher, educator, clinician and author, Dr. Datis Kharrazian (www.thyroidbook.com).  She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (www.icpa4kids.com) and is certified in a gentle, pregnancy specific adjusting technique called the Webster Technique (www.icpa4kids.com/about/webster_technique.htm).  She continues her education monthly by attending conferences to stay current on the latest in health, physiology and energy medicine.  She is Co-Founder of The Craving Solution (www.cravingsolution.com).

When away from her desk, Dr. Daniels loves nothing better than to spend an afternoon with her husband Beau Daniels (www.bdxchiro.com/staff.aspx) and son Ryker.  Dr Daniels also loves horseback riding, traveling and any Boston sports team.  She is passionate about empowering women about their health and loves to give back to her community through lectures and her time.
